About Lindsay Allen

The mission of World Orphans is to equip, inspire, and mobilize the Church to care for orphans. We desire to see churches engaged, children restored, and communities transformed by the Gospel of Christ. World Orphans works through a wholistic approach, believing that children both belong in and thrive in a family environment. This approach focuses on Home Based Care, administered through local churches. We partner these international churches with US churches that financially and relationally support their efforts to care for orphaned and vulnerable children. This Church Partnership allows US churches the opportunity to minister to the needs of orphans worldwide, while engaging relationally with the global Body of Christ.

It is an honor and privilege to serve as the Director of International Programs for World Orphans. In my role, I oversee and manage our programs in several of the countries we serve, including Haiti, Ethiopia, Nicaragua, Uganda, and South Africa. I facilitate communication with our international staff and church pastors, implement and assess the efficacy of our programs, provide program updates and reporting for our US partners, and equip churches to care for vulnerable families physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

World Orphans is a 100% donor-supported ministry, and part of my commitment is to form a team of ministry partners who will support the organization with me through prayer and monthly gifts to fund my salary and ministry expenses. Your donations REALLY DO make a difference! This entire ministry depends on it. I hope that you will join my support team and "take up the cause of the fatherless" with me. Thank you!

"Learn to do right. Seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless, and plead the case of the widow." --Isaiah 1:17`
