About Lindsay Allen
The mission of World Orphans is to equip, inspire, and mobilize the church to care for orphans. We desire to see churches engaged, children restored, and communities transformed by the Gospel of Christ. World Orphans works through a wholistic approach, believing that children both belong and thrive in a family environment. This approach focuses on Home Based Care administered through local churches. We partner these international churches with US churches that financially and relationally support their efforts to care for orphaned and vulnerable children. This Church Partnership allows US churches the opportunity to minister to the needs of orphans worldwide, while engaging relationally with the global Body of Christ.
I am so excited, humbled, and privileged to be a part of the World Orphans team as the project manager for the Americas. In my role, I oversee and manage our church partners in Haiti (13), Guatemala (6), and Nicaragua (2). I facilitate communication with our church pastors, assess the success of our projects, and provide direction in equipping these churches to care for children physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I also manage our guesthouse in Port-au-Prince, Haiti!
World Orphans is a 100% donor-supported ministry, and part of my commitment is to form a team of ministry partners who will support the organization with me through prayer and monthly gifts to fund my salary and ministry expenses. Your donations really do make a difference. I hope that you will join my support team and "take up the cause of the fatherless" with me.
"Learn to do right. Seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless, and plead the case of the widow." --Isaiah 1:17
